Smart Telecom appoints director

Telecom operator Smart Telecom has appointed Ciarán Casey to its board.

Mr Casey previously held a senior executive role with mortgage lender First Active and has also held senior positions within the GE Capital Group. The company also said existing director Michael Maye had resigned for personal reasons.
