Minmet completes Wellington coup

Exploration company Minmet said it had completed the reverse takeover of Canadian group Wellington Cove Explorations, which has been renamed GoldQuest.

Minmet will hold a 58% interest in the company, which plans to list on the Toronto stock exchange.

Minmet also said it had raised €820,000 from European investors seeking to take a stake in the Canadian venture.
