DAX down on Allianz results

GERMAN stocks including Allianz AG declined. Europe’s largest insurer reported fourth-quarter profit that missed analyst estimates.

The DAX index declined 0.69 to 5897.79.

DAX March futures fell less than 1% as of 5:46pm in Frankfurt. The HDAX Index of the country’s 110 biggest companies added less than 1%.
