DCC won’t bid for Tayto, says NCB

DCC is not expected to enter the frame as a possible bidder should C&C follow through on media speculation and sell its Tayto snack foods division.

According to NCB Stockbrokers, although DCC has “significant acquisition capacity”, its own snack food business (Jordans, Phileas Fogg, Kelkin, Robinson’s etc) is more niche-focused.
