A €28 million pharmaceutical plant that will create up to 60 jobs opened in Cork yesterday.

Corporate management of Recordati, a Milan-based pharmaceutical ingredients company, were joined by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Micheál Martin, to mark the opening of the group's new plant in Ringaskiddy.

The Cork site hosts an international pharmaceutical sales, marketing and customer support group as well as the new manufacturing site of the Recordati pharmaceuticals division.
