Business Week to focus on network

THE second annual Limerick Business Week which takes place October 3-9 will have the theme, ‘Networking and mentoring as a means of fast tracking business growth’.

One of the main events will be a speed networking event at the Clarion Hotel on October 6.

Margaret Ryan, assistant chief executive officer of the Limerick City Enterprise Board, said this year’s event had been organised with a tighter focus than the initial one last year.

She said they hope to have up to 100 local companies and business concerns represented at the speed networking evening which would be one of the main events of the week.

While many events are geared towards established business enterprises, the organisers also hope to attract budding entrepreneurs.

Start Your Own Business Day will take place the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel on October 7. This will also have a joint theme of Women in Business.
