Cox solicitors top league table

ARTHUR Cox solicitors has topped a league table for merger and acquisitions activity in the first nine months of the year.

A new survey by MergerMarket.com shows Arthur Cox was involved in 16 deals so far this year, one ahead of nearest rival William Fry. McCann FitzGerald came third, adviser on a dozen transactions, with Matheson Orsmby Prentice coming fourth.

A&L Goodbody, which had been number one last year, rounded out the top five.
