British airline aims to spread its wings
The company wants to operate the Kerry-Dublin and Knock-Dublin routes, which are operated by Aer Arann, and the Logan Air-operated Derry Dublin route, all of which receive government subsidies. The routes are out to tender for a three-year period.
BMI regional managing director Crawford Rix said: “BMI already has a strong presence in the Irish marketplace, through our successful Dublin-London Heathrow service. If successful in this tender, we would significantly expand our regional service offering.”
