Food consumer health information

Irish food and drink companies have come together to establish a Nutrition and Health Foundation, which will provide consumers with information on nutrition and physical activity.

The foundation will be led by the food and drink industry through IBEC’s food division, Food and Drink Industry Ireland (FDII).

IBEC director of sectors Ciaran Fitzgerald said, “We need to be proactive now in order to address the health of our young people, rather than risk the consequences later in life.”
