DAX continues rising

GERMAN stocks advanced for the sixth day in seven yesterday and Allianz AG paced gains on speculation the company may sell its investment-banking unit.

The DAX Index rose 11.84, or 0.3%, to 4615.49, as twenty of the benchmark’s 30 shares gained.

Allianz added €2.55, or 2.7%, to €97.80, the biggest gain in 9 months.
