School of Science distance learning

Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) has launched its first distance education programme.

The new School of Science initiative will allow people living in any part of Ireland to use the postal system to earn a degree in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Science.

“Students can earn the degree part-time over two years,” said GMIT’s Dr Séamus Lennon.
