Stockjudging competition finals

The 2004 Bord Bia-Macra na Feirme national beef and sheep stockjudging competition finals will take place next Wednesday on the farm of Garrett Behan in Ballyfinn, Portlaoise, Co Laois.

Competitors will take part in the event which has categories for stockjudging in sheep and at under 23 and senior levels in beef.

Bord Bia’s Michael Deely said selecting livestock to meet European market specifications remains critical to producer returns from beef and lamb.
