A BELGIAN SHEPHERD has become the world’s first pet to be fitted with a prosthetic paw where skin has grown into metal.

The 2004 Bord Bia-Macra na Feirme national beef and sheep stockjudging competition finals will take place next Wednesday on the farm of Garrett Behan in Ballyfinn, Portlaoise, Co Laois.
