Ryanair and Elan lead ISEQ recovery

THE ISEQ index recovered yesterday led by gains in Ryanair and Elan. At the closing bell, the Dublin Exchange had risen 49.51 points to 7226.79.

Ryanair and Elan lead ISEQ recovery

AIB edged 3c higher at €17.95. Bank of Ireland shed 4c to €13.30. In the second line Anglo-Irish rose 5c to €12.22 while Irish Life & Permanent jumped 14c to €16.38.

In Construction, CRH climbed 12c to €24.42. Grafton shares gained 10c to €8.73. Kingspan nudged up 4c to €10.80 while McInerney jumped 12c to €10.75.
