4m Royal Doulton shares offloaded

Waterford Wedgwood takeover target Royal Doulton said one of its major shareholders had reduced its stake from 17.2% to 16%.

American investment company Harris Associates offloaded four million shares earlier this week. Waterford already owns more than 21% of the British chinaware manufacturer.
