Kenmare signs mine building deal

Exploration company Kenmare Resources has signed a Fixed Price Contract to build a titanium minerals mine in Mozambique with a joint venture between Australian construction giant Multiplex and engineering group Bateman.

The contract is established on a base price of $220 million with provisions for cost overruns up to $240m.
