IBA welcomes insurance report

The Irish Brokers Association (IBA) has welcomed the report on insurance reform by the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Enterprise and Small Business.

Paul Lynch, IBA chief executive, said: “In particular we welcome the report’s finding that brokers are an important force for competition.”

Mr Lynch said that brokers were determined to play their part in providing consumers of insurance products with professional advice, value added service and competitive insurance products.
