New chairman for power firm Viridian

Northern power generator Viridian, which operates the Huntstown power plant in north Dublin, has appointed Dipesh Shah as its new chairman.

Mr Shah will take office at the end of April, when current chairman Philip Rogerson retires.

Chief executive Patrick Haren said, “The board is very grateful to Philip for the significant and valuable contribution he has made since becoming a non-executive director and during his six years as chairman.”
