Ovoca gains with takeover news

SHARES in Ovoca Resources gained 2c, or 15%, after the exploration company said it had completed the takeover of a 78% stake in mineral company Norplat.

Ovoca will part fund the deal through the issue of new shares and will have the option of buying out the remaining stake in the company if it wishes.
