Drennan appointed IAASA chief

Trade and Commerce Minister Michael Ahern has appointed Ian Drennan chief executive officer (designate) of the Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority (IAASA).

The authority, to be based in Naas, Co. Kildare, will now set about developing a detailed work programme and preparing for its formal establishment on a statutory basis.
