Tesco signs up 9,000 customers

Retailer Tesco has signed up 9,000 customers for its branded credit card. Tesco has offered to pay the €40 government credit card duty for customers but will withdraw the offer at the end of March.

Tesco signs up 9,000 customers

The card attracts an interest rate of 1.9% APR on balance transfers for a six-month period and rewards users with points for Tesco’s loyalty programme.

Tesco personal finance manager Fay Hogg said the group was committed to investing in the Irish market and looked to expand by offering good value and service to customers.
