Safegard Systems selected as finalists
The company designs, develops and markets an innovative PC-based control system (Safegard V3) that stops the spread of fire and smoke through the ducted ventilation systems of vital health, business and IT buildings and facilities such as hospitals and airports.
Safegard Systems, based in Wicklow, which employs 13 people, has over 100 customers and exports its unique product to clients in Britain, Germany, Luxembourg, Scandinavia and Malta, including the British Museum in London, Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Manchester, Liverpool University, Stansted Airport, and a high school in Sweden.
