Superquinn facing makeover

THE new owners of Superquinn, Select Retail Holdings, plan a €60 million refurbishment of the group’s 21 stores over the next few years.

Blanchardstown will be the first to face a makeover at a cost of €3m with work due to start in January.

The group also plans to build apartments on some sites and to add new stores, up to a maximum of 50.
