TECHNOLOGY company Vallent has created 20 research and development jobs in Cork and Galway.

Vallent Technologies, which employs more than 130 people in Ireland, provides service assurance solutions for the communications industry.

The company said it created the extra jobs in response to its continued success in this industry.
