SmartHomes claims top prize

Dundalk-based cabling company SmartHomes has won the €100,000 top prize at this year’s All-Island Seedcorn Competition, organised by InterTrade Ireland.

The company, which installs cables to carry communications and TV signals into residential developments, beat off competition from six other finalists, including Cork telecom software company Pervenio, to scoop the award. Beaten finalists won €20,000 each.
