Excellence Ireland relaunched

The Excellence Ireland Quality Association, formerly Excellence Ireland, was relaunched yesterday the Tánaiste Mary Harney.

The opening of the association’s building is the final element in the transition to EIQA, which is committed to providing the highest standards of hygiene and food safety and quality and excellence to Irish organisations.

EIQA also launched its Well Workplace Award, as sign of its commitment to innovation.

Acknowledging the importance of work-life balance, the Well Workplace Award recognises organisations that are committed to the promotion of organisational excellence though workplace wellness initiatives.

Research indicates that employees involved in a ’workplace wellness initiative’ will increase personal productivity by up to 25% and organisations will see an investment return of 6:1.
