Rubio will travel to Israel after Vance visit to ensure Gaza ceasefire holds

US secretary of state Marco Rubio has said he will be travelling to Israel to keep the momentum on the US-brokered ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

It comes as US vice president JD Vance’s visit to the country comes to a close.
