Phillip Schofield has denied allegations that his former colleague was made to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to keep him silent over their affair and explaining why he revealed the truth saying that the “lie got too big for both of us”.

The 61-year-old former presenter has been speaking to the BBC’s Amol Rajan in his first interview since resigning from ITV last week and being dropped by his talent agency YMU after admitting to the “unwise but not illegal” relationship.
