Loved ones of the 22 people who died in the Manchester Arena bombing in England stood in silent remembrance as the names of the victims were recited at the opening of the public inquiry into the terror attack.

The sombre proceedings began with Paul Greaney QC, counsel to the inquiry, reading the names of each of those murdered by suicide bomber Salman Abedi on May 22, 2017.
