Court increases Nurofen maker's fine for misleading Australians

An Australian court has upped a £1 million fine on British company Reckitt Benckiser to £3.5 million for misleading consumers about the effectiveness of the popular painkiller Nurofen.
Sydney's Federal Court upheld an appeal by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, the watchdog which launched the court action, against a smaller fine of 1.7 million Australian dollars imposed on Reckitt Benckiser in April.
