Rio boasts world's largest Christmas tree

The world's largest floating Christmas tree has been displayed in Rio de Janeiro.
The festive construction, which weighs an incredible 542-tonnes and is 85-metres long, was placed on 11 massive platforms in the Brazilian city.
More than one million lights were used to decorate the incredible structure, which was part of a ceremony that featured fireworks, music and a number of fictional movie characters.
According to the spectacle's sponsors, the Guinness World Record team have confirmed the new record.
