Circumstances surrounding British oil executive murder unknown

Belgian police have said that a British oil executive shot dead in Brussels could have been the victim of a targeted assassination or a random mugging.

60-year-old Nicholas Mockford was attacked as he left a restaurant with his wife in Brussels.
