US woman 'taught bird to swear at neighbours'
A US woman was sent to court after allegedly teaching her cockatoo to swear at her neighbours.
Lynne Taylor appeared in front of a judge in Rhode Island on apparent noise violation charges after her pet bird Willy's language reportedly caused offence to her neighbours Kathleen Melker and Craig Fontaine, who claim the crude cockatoo cursed at them on a number of occasions, the Providence Journal reports.
