Bank branch 'left unlocked'
A British bank has launched an investigation to find out why one of its branches was unlocked over the weekend.
One woman unintentionally discovered the Royal Bank of Scotland's Carnoustie branch in Dundee, Scotland, hadn't been properly secured when she leant against the wooden doors while waiting for a bus and accidentally pushed them open.
An RBS spokesman said: "We are investigating why these doors could have opened.”
Police were called to the scene after the bank's alarm system was activated and the company insists the internal doors were locked.
An RBS spokesman added: "[The bank is] pleased the alarm system worked as planned."
