Italy flood towns get emergency aid

The Italian government has approved €65m in emergency aid to flood-ravaged coastal towns.

The Cabinet today declared a state of emergency for the population of the stricken areas in Tuscany and Liguria, including towns that are part of the Cinque Terre tourist route.
