Italy to supply Libyan rebels with 'self-defence equipment'

The Italian Government has denied that its to arm Libyan rebels, but has said it will supply them with self-defence equipment.

It comes amid claims Gaddafi's forces have used small crop spraying planes to bomb oil storage tanks in Misratah.
