Four children among nine killed in Australian flash floods
Nine people, including four children, have been killed in flash floods in Australia.
At least 66 others are missing and Australia's Prime Minister Julia Gillard has warned the death toll is likely to rise further.
Police are now urging people in parts of Brisbane to leave their homes, as it is feared more than 6,000 houses in the city could be affected.
Waters are sweeping cars away and residents have been forced to cling to trees for survival.
Emer McDonagh - who is originally from Co. Kildare and lives in the worst hit city, Toowommba in Queensland - said the area has been devastated.
