President Barack Obama and his wife are travelling to New Orleans to mark the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

The hurricane left behind an estimated $81bn (€63.4bn) of damage from Florida to Texas, and more than 1,800 people dead.

New Orleans was worst hit - 80% of the city was flooded, and thousands were evacuated.
