Obama's half-brother arrested on drug charge

The half-brother of US president Barack Obama has been arrested for alleged possession of marijuana, according to Kenyan police.

Area police chief Joshua Omokulongolo said George Obama was picked up today and was being held at the Huruma police post in the capital, Nairobi.

Mr Omokulongolo said officers found one joint of marijuana in his possession.

George Obama and the president had the same father.
