15 Turkish soldiers killed in Kurdish attack

Turkey's military says 15 of its soldiers have been killed in the south east of the country in an attack by Kurdish rebels based in northern Iraq.

The military said the overnight attack involved heavy weapons fired by the rebels at a Turkish military outpost in Aktutun, Turkey.
