Nine bodies found at Indonesia home of suspected serial killer
Police investigating a suspected serial killer in Indonesia said today that they have now unearthed 10 bodies – most buried in his backyard.
Police spokesman Abu Bakar Nataprawira said Verry Henyanksyah was arrested last week after confessing to murdering his lover. The victim’s mutilated corpse was left in a suitcase in the capital, Jakarta.
Since then, nine bodies have been recovered from behind Henyanksyah’s home in Jombang, a town in East Java province. A woman and her three-year-old daughter were among those killed.
Mr Nataprawira said today the motive for the murders was still being investigated.
