US: Workmen killed in crane collapse

Two building workers were killed and one was seriously injured when a crane collapsed in a Manhattan neighbourhood, smashing into a 23-storey apartment building as it fell.

It was the second deadly crane accident in two and a half months in New York, which is undergoing a building boom.
