Woman who shed 10st wins UK slimmer title
A customer advisor who shed almost 10 stone in her battle to lose weight was today named Slimmer of the Year.
Nicki Forster, a mother-of-two from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire in England, had feared she would never see her daughters grow up because she was so fat.
The 32-year-old had to wear a special suit for her wedding in 1998 because at 21st 7lb she couldn’t have a normal dress.
But today she was named the Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Magazine’s Slimmer of the Year after losing 9st 9lb in just nine months.
Mrs Forster, who managed to drop from 20st 6lb to 10st 11lb and from a size 26 to a svelte 10-12, was given her award by Ms Conley at a ceremony in Kensington, central London.
