Train passengers injured in Rome underground collision
Two underground trains collided during morning rush hour today in Rome, injuring about 60 people, Italian news reports said.
Ambulances, firefighters and rescue teams rushed to the underground station in central Rome. The area was cordoned off.
The ANSA news agency reported that 60 people were injured, including 15 who were in a serious condition.
The cause of the accident was being investigated, ANSA said.
