Thai PM confirms reports of assassination plot

Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra today said there had been intelligence reports of a plot to assassinate him.

Asked about the assassination plot in Bangkok, Thaksin said: “The National Intelligence Agency chief showed me the report. There is nothing to worry about. We just increased security measures.”
