Insurgents shoot down US helicopter - two killed

Insurgents shot down a US military helicopter during fighting south of Baghdad, killing two soldiers, the US command said in Iraq today.

The attack occurred yesterday during fighting in Youssifiyah, 12 miles south of the Iraqi capital, the military said in a brief statement.
