Blair calls on Chavez to use energy responsibly

British Prime Minister Tony Blair today called on Bolivian President Evo Morales and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to show the world they were responsible in use of their energy resources.

In Vienna, Blair said the nationalisation of Bolivia’s and Venezuela’s energy sectors concerned everyone.

“The most important thing is that everyone uses their power they have responsibly, that is what we want to have happen,” Blair said at an EU-Latin America summit.
