Fatah official: We will be a loyal opposition

Mahmoud Abbas will ask Hamas to form a new cabinet, and the Palestinian leader’s Fatah Party will be in the opposition, a senior Fatah official said today.

Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat made the announcement after a meeting with Abbas.
