Briton among four oil workers kidnapped in Nigeria

A Briton is reported to be among four foreign oil workers kidnapped by armed men in Nigeria, news reports said today.

An American is also thought to be among the four taken from an offshore oilfield operated by Royal Dutch Shell. The two other kidnap victims were said to be a Honduran and Bulgarian.

Reports said the men were working on a ship serving Shell’s oil industry.
