9/11 survivor awarded €7.4m compensation

A 33-year-old woman who suffered massive injuries in the attack on the World Trade Centre in 2001 has been awarded €7.4m by the September 11 Victims Compensation Fund.

The award to Deborah Mardenfeld was the largest yet offered by the fund.
